Samajh Ni Aati

Dear readers and viewers,

I am trying to write about my observations regarding Pakistan, its politics, demographics, policies, and a lot of other things which are directly or indirectly related to Pakistan, in this regard, today is my first ever post to achieve this goal. Hope you will give me proper and valuable feedback.

In my point of view, there is a difference between illiteracy and ineligibility, where as illiteracy can be achieved through education, proper training, on field guidance and through many other ways. But ineligibility will always leads to a failure. Our government in not only illiterate but ineligible for running the state matters, I'll support my this stance with my following observation.

Today, the actual politics which are being practised by our politicians is far more away, what they apparently present. They are disguising their ineligible faces into so-called democratic leaders of Pakistan. The main purpose of their presence in the assemblies is to make fun of general public and enjoy the miserable condition of people, which are internally threatened by man-made inflation, terrorism, domestic problems and meaning less acting of our politicians at national stage and externally by western countries through number of ways.

Can anyone remind our government that the politics of early 90s had been finished now, when they are trying to deceive people in their own way,  If it is very much necessary to play with people than they should do it with proper tools, so that people can enjoy their performance. (It also will be a great support to the public in this frustrating and tensed national environment).

You can see the Government's joke with the public on the back page of Daily Express May 01, 2011 edition and even after the said date on many other news papers in the country. Our Government (having competencies in Economics & Finance) is claiming that Oil prices in Pakistan are still very low as compared to the rest of the oil importing countries, So don't be tensed and worried on the recent increase in oil prices and try to reduce your oil consumption.

Now the pondering point in this advertisement which made me stuck on the newspaper is that comparison should always be done by taking the same base, the attributes should lie in the same class. Governmnet is claiming that one liter petrol price in U.K is 184.23 PKR, which is almost double than Pakistan. Still we are offering low prices to public. May be they don't know that the minimum wage rate in U.K is 6.25 pounds/hour, a layman can earn 50 pounds a day easily in U.K. i ask what minimum wage rate they are offering here in Pakistan, its just 300 Rs/Day, which is almost two times less than there hourly rate. So do you think this advertisement is pitching the origional picture?

There is a huge difference in the purchsing power of both the countries. If we have to compare the actual difference; than we have to consult PPP (surprisingly not Pakistan Peoples Party but an economic concept of purchasing power parity). We have to compare the prices of 222 commodities in both countries and after some econaomical tests, one can project the real difference, which make sense.

A matter of fact is that we are expecting such kind of jokes to us, not a big deal. Now come up to the remaining statement of the governament’s advertisment that people should reduce their oil consumption. Let us suppose that public decrease their oil consumption for a while, who will reduce the adverse effects of increased oil prices in the whole economy. Each sector will have to pay its share to the oil rise.

For God sake please stop bluffing people any more. Kis ko bewaqoof bana rahy hn samjh ni aati???
